Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, the Co-Artistic Director of the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor as well as a board member of SSC from 2011. Also, she was the producer, costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble during her last year, she made her debut as a director (and the lighting design) for the SSC's King Lear.
