Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She is the host of her own Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up persona, shows how to prepare restaurant-style meals at home, using easy methods. Chef Burrell is also a part of many of the best eateries in New York, studied the food culture and culinary traditions of Italy, and battled on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the catalyst for her passion for the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she declares. The Culinary Institute of America was an excellent location to learn. After graduating, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in Umbria's La Taverna del Lupo as and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. While in Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It made a huge influence on her perception of food. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists kids with disabilities. In her capacity as a speaker, she makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef.
